Who We Are
Glimmer Door was founded by Larissa Douglass, an Oxford-educated historian, technology analyst, and visual storyteller. With 25 years of experience analyzing technology’s impact on society, she has worked with academic institutions, tech startups, and industry professionals to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Her background includes:

A decade's work with the UK National Research Project, Intute, assessing the value of online scholarly resources.

Teaching thousands of K-12 students across North America in social sciences and the humanities.

Fifteen years of extensive study, research and writing on the historical, economic and geopolitical conditions associated with emerging technologies.​
